I exercised my first New Year's resolution already (yea!) by cleaning out my closet yesterday. In the process, I discovered so many clothes I had forgotten I even owned, but that I actually like. It was like going shopping for free! Who doesn't like that?
I was also ruthless in tossing items into the pile to donate. What was my criteria for donating? Anything constraining, fussy, or super-chic but not comfortable. I still have all the basic, fundamental items for a fully functional wardrobe with some fun pieces as accents.
I may not be caring for an infant anymore, but I realized that I don't want to go back to the way I used to dress before I had my daughter - fashion for fashion's sake whether comfortable or not. I still want to be fashionable and feel stylish and sexy, but on my terms.
That's what HadleyStilwell is all about. Whether you're breastfeeding or not, HadleyStilwell clothes are flattering, stylish, yet so comfortable, and easily transition from a professional workplace, to playing with your baby, to an evening out.
So here's my declaration, and I hope you will say it with me:
I am worthy of luxurious fabrics, easy care (no dry cleaning), two-second dressing that is completely pulled together, looking and feeling good, as well as discreet breastfeeding and pumping. I can have a baby AND look good. It's the mom equivalent to "have my cake and eat it, too"!
Here's to 2012!
These breastfeeding moms are warm, comfortable, and fashionable...everywhere they go!
